“It’s confirmed, PP. At 12 noon today, I was told that I wouldn’t be needed next term. Time to pack up…” ,
Fishtail.
Just reach home then I took a bath, as usual. Rest awhile since tomorrow got no exam so just chill around…still got no nothing to do so I went online. The first thing I do of course visit my blog; check whether is there anyone commenting about my blog.
Once the title of my blog pops up I hurry click on the comment link (can’t wait to see people’s comment). Is kind of sad, I saw fishtail’s comment mentioning about he’s been told ….I could feel that how much he loves his job by teaching his students about the history / moral and so on (Something he know well). Of course we, as a student did enjoy the class much and feel comfortable in the way he teach…just relax and no rush for assignment!!!
But it’s going to end soon…when is the last time I talk to fishtail face-to-face? Erm...just few days ago in the office where he was sitting besides Ms. Peggy (I remember that the table were used to label part- time). He was checking the marking scheme for Malaysian Studies and he saw me.
“PP, how good your friend is, she help you check on your marks and so on.”
“Oh yea, it’s my luck that I met them.”
“You did well in your exam, well done.”
“Thanks Mr. Warren!”
I couldn’t think of anything to say, so just staring at each other and smile; I recall that he’s eyes were turning into red (like cried before) so…or lack of sleep, might be. Before I ciao I look at him again and wish him, enjoy your day, Mr. Warren. “Sure!” he replied.
Although I would not see him again (maybe somewhere around Pj) but sure would not be in KDU. Erm…I think Fishtail do miss his coffee buddy much where they usually sat at the cafeteria chit chatting about some world war I / II thingy (if I’m not mistaken. Sorry, I didn’t mean to overhear).
He’s also a freelance author and did publish few books. Looking after mother, only the book I owned of all his collection. The book was about caring and loves towards the elderly parents, was a true story which Fishtail shared. Is quite touching also…if you’re interested could borrow it from me…. (Don’t ya know my contact number?) I’m not trying to promote it but just a book where many of us should know deeply where our parents getting old and older, might get to know what they want from us too….
At last, to Fishtail, hope you had a great time with all your students and others lecturer (especially your coffee buddy)…just all the best and bless you. KEEP ON BLOGGING!!!
I do believe that people do need rest so they could keep on going the way which they had chosen.
